Building Services Engineer

As the Services Engineering lead you create the cardiology and respiratory systems of any project; you allow the Architect’s vision to live and breathe. The intricate spaghetti highway that is MEP system design carries much complexity which needs careful coordination with other activities. Your design interfaces with every other discipline in a project, but during the design phase you can be last to provide your input; often awaiting structural design freeze to avoid multiple changes to your work. This can result in constantly playing catch up as the design develops putting unnecessary pressure on your team which needn’t be the case.
